Aaron LaPlante

Aaron LaPlante is a journeyman voice actor, writer, and mixed media artist originally from the Pacific Northwest. After moving to Los Angeles and spending many years performing with various award winning sketch comedy teams, Aaron’s personal choice to always give his onstage characters wildly distinct sounding speaking voices would eventually lead him towards the world of animation and interactive voiceover.

Over the past fifteen years Aaron has performed voice work in numerous film, television, and interactive projects. He is perhaps best known for his work as the the grunting and screaming voice of SPEAR the caveman character in Genndy Tartakovsky’s Emmy award winning series PRIMAL for AdultSwim. He also provided the voice and mocap performance for the much beloved in game merchant character THE DUKE in Capcom’s multi award winning and record breaking game title RESIDENT EVIL VILLAGE.

As a voice actor, Aaron always strives to be a creative and efficient problem solver. He is a collaborator able to use his natural versatility to make bold and interesting choices while always staying true to the specific needs of the client. He has been fortunate enough over the years to continuously develop and foster many ongoing creative relationships with various industry professionals and members of the art and cinema community.

In his spare time, Aaron loves to spend time with his wife Tasha and their two dogs Gertie and Dyna. He loves films and making art particularly his line of nostalgia miniatures called Emotional Support Objects which can be found in many local shops and art galleries around Los Angeles.
