Amber Hood

Once upon a time, Amber Hood was living on a sunny San Diego beach with a Psychology/Criminal Justice degree and the certainty that the law wasn’t going to be her future. Now in Los Angeles, having found fulfillment as a voice actress and writer/creator/producer, she’s never looked back.

Known for a unique voice with twinkly warmth and wonder, Amber has made her career providing youthful character voices for games, TV shows, toys, and movies. As a California kid, going to Disneyland was a special treat, so Amber was thrilled when she booked her first series for Disney Jr, as Dotty in “Special Agent Oso.” Her voice lends itself to hopeful characters like Susie Sunshine in “Doc McStuffins” and Brightwing in “Heroes of the Storm.” On the other side of things, Amber can be heard sounding monstrous, creepy, and diabolical as the dead sister in Pet Sematary II.

Amber is happy to pay it forward with her labor of love, “World of Liberty”, an adventure app series for kids she created, writes and produces. With the proceeds, Amber raises funds for some of her favorite causes; No Kid Hungry, Tiny Superheroes, The USO, and ASPCA. Oh, and she’s a Cubs fan, for life!
