Ashlyn Madden
At 14 and homeless with her family in Northern California, Ashlyn Madden needed someplace to go after school. She stumbled upon an after-school drama program, where she fell in love with storytelling. Her success on stage led to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles.
Ashlyn’s willingness to be covered in live snakes (which she admits she actually loved), earned her first job and union card for the “Bones” Halloween episode “Mummy in the Maze” as teenaged kidnap victim Megan Shaw. Ashlyn’s ability to scream like a banshee for 15 hours without hurting her voice led her to pursue voiceover acting.
Excelling in animation, Ashlyn’s first series brought Midge to life in Netflix’s “Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse.” She voices Lego Batgirl for “DC Super Hero Girls” and fan-favorite Carol Pingrey in Nickelodeon’s “The Loud House.” Ashlyn’s most current character, and where she showcases her singing, is Queen Ismat on the animated series “Ridley Jones” on Netflix.
Ashlyn lives in Santa Barbara with her husband, cat, and two dogs. When not in the recording studio, she gardens, cooks a 12 hour bolognese sauce that draws friends from far and wide for spaghetti night, and researches the stock market. She's a huge stock market nerd.
