Brent Popolizio
Brent began his career as the daring and hilarious host of Nickelodeon’s U-Pick Live, the number one rated kids’ show for many years. He was in Tiger Beat and EVERYTHING. Brent went on to featured roles on shows like “Jane the Virgin,” “Lady Dynamite,” “Why Women Kill,” and “9-1-1” to name a few, and recently stole the screen as a super smarmy director in Paramount Network’s all time top rated movie “A Nashville Country Christmas.” If you didn’t catch him there, you’ve surely seen him in one of the 120+ commercials to his credit. His commercials have won numerous awards; most recently he starred as Gene in the critically acclaimed, 5 years and counting campaign for 76 Gas called “Gene and Jean.” #vanlife
In addition to his 20+ year on-camera career, Brent’s versatility has made him a mainstay in animation and commercial voice overs. He’s particularly proud of his recurring character on the hit animated show Clarence. He has worked in promos, commercials for radio and television, and video games as well – he’s happy to recreate his spectacular OOOFs, UGHHHs, and ARGHs at your request.
Brent is a native of Boston, MA, and YES, he can “PAHK the CAH” or not, according to your whims, and earned his BFA at Emerson College. From there he would work in regional and off-Broadway theater around the east coast. He studied with Kristin Linklater and Uta Hagen, and Shakespeare with the Public Theatre of NYC. That’s right.
