J. Eddie Martinez
J. Eddie Martinez started his acting career in off-Broadway theater and went on to work on “Law & Order”, “Law & Order CI”. He moved to Los Angeles where he has worked on shows “NCIS:LA” (CBS), “Hawaii Five0” (CBS), “All Rise” (CBS) and “Animal Kingdom” (TNT). His film credits include “A Better Life" directed by Chris Weitz, starring Academy Award nominee Demian Bichir. “The Night Stalker” starring Lou Diamond Phillips. Guest star roles in “Narcos:Mexico” (Netflix) opposite Michael Peña. Eddie played Vice President Ruben Ochoa in the feature film “Bel Canto” starring Julianne Moore and Ken Wantanabe directed by Paul Weitz. Other films include “Kill Chain” starring Nicolas Cage and “The Infiltrators” which received two awards at Sundance Film Festival 2019. Eddie was a series regular on season 3 of “The Sinner” currently on (Netflix) playing Detective Vic Soto opposite Bill Pullman. Eddie also voiced the lovable Donkey Guy in Disney’s “Encanto”. You can catch Eddie in the feature “Moving On” starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, out in March.
