Kimberly D. Brooks

A voiceover craftsperson since her college days, Kimberly Brooks has been in the theater arts since she was eight years old. She honed her craft as a college theater major in Southern California. During that time, she became aware of the voice master, Don LaFontaine. Inspired by his beautiful voice, professional work ethic, and generosity to the voice community, Kimberly aspired to a voice career. Applying herself with talent, hard work, and dedication, Kimberly is a vital presence in the voice community. With a broad range from animated kids to adult spokesperson, she works in all genres, including animation, narration, on-air promo, commercials, and interactive games. Kimberly has the distinction of being the first female network on-air voice while at the same time performing multiple kid roles in animated series, her first being none other than the kid’s favorite, “Rugrats.”

Using her musical theater background, Kimberly voices LUNA, the keyboardist and backup singer of eco-goth rock band The Hex Girls from “Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated.” Kimberly’s recent notable animation roles include DR. MAISHA MCSTUFFINS on Disney Jr’s “Doc McStuffins,” and the brave and honorable PRINCESS ALLURA in Netflix’s reboot of the classic cartoon “Voltron.” Kimberly can also be heard as the small but mighty BUMBLEBEE in Cartoon Networks’ “DC Superhero Girls.”

Kimberly’s other notable animation credits include the tempestuous STORMY on Nickelodeon’s “Winx Club,” the tough and gritty JASPER on Cartoon Network’s “Steven Universe,” Buena Girl in “¡Mucha Lucha!” and the ethically questionable CLASSI on Comedy Central’s critically acclaimed “South Park.”

Gamers will recognize Kimberly’s iconic voice from such roles as the tenacious and sharp-tongued ASHLEY WILLIAMS from the beloved “Mass Effect” series, and righteous and resourceful DAISY FITZROY in “BioShock Infinite” and “BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea.” She can also be heard as ORACLE in the “Batman: Arkham” series, JUJU in “Skylanders: Imaginators,” SENNA in Riot Games’ “League of Legends,” and “Legends of Runeterra.”

FUN FACT: The psychic at Kimberly’s high school career day predicted that Kimberly would have a very successful career using her voice. Little did Kimberly know, it wasn’t song but story that would make that prediction come true.
