Larry Cedar

In addition to his regular voiceover work, Larry is particularly known for specializing in legal disclaimers (www.disclaimerman.com) and has been VW’s legal announcer for the past several years, having recorded dozens of legal tags on their behalf.

Larry starred for three years as opium addict Leon Stalsworth in the acclaimed HBO series Deadwood. He most recently guest starred on the HULU series Runaways, the NBC series For the People, and NBC miniseries Law & Order True Crimes: The Menendez Murders. Other television credits include Trial & Error, Mad Men, Grey’s Anatomy (the surgeon who killed Dr. McDreamy), Community (as Chevy Chase’s father, Cornelius Hawthorne), and Square One TV (PBS). Feature films include The Midnighters, The Crazies, Hollywoodland, Midnight Son, Towelhead, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, and the lead role in the indie Native American fantasy She Sings to the Stars (www.shesingstothestars.com).

An Ovation Award winning theater actor and avid monologist, Larry’s one-man literary stage adaptations George Orwell’s ORWELLIAN and Fyodor Dostoevsky’s NOTES FROM THE UNDERGROUND each won Best Solo Performance at the 2016 and 2017 NoHo Fringe Festivals, and he is currently developing his third stage adaptation based on the Franz Kafka novel LETTER TO MY FATHER. Other theater credits include work at The Geffen Playhouse, Reprise Musicals, The Colony Theater, The Rubicon Theatre, and The Arizona Theater Company.
