Lauren Mayfield
Lauren has been bringing stories and characters to life for as long as she can remember — from reenacting “The Wizard of Oz” word-for-word at age 3, to creating a pretend radio station with her push-button tape recorder in middle school, to performing at the Walt Disney World Resort as a dancing Christmas Elf after graduating with her Theatre Arts degree.
Video game fans know Lauren as the English voice of Yona in “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom,” Societte in “Granblue Fantasy: Versus,” all four personalities of Queen of Cards Izanami (each with a different voice!) in “SMITE,” and more. She’s worked with many of the top studios in Los Angeles on both AAA domestic titles and international localizations, and she has also been heard in national TV commercials, live action dubs, anime, radio drama, and corporate narration.
Her versatile voice and performance style covers a wide range of colorful characters with smarts, sass, and sincerity — from lawful good paladins to encouraging older sisters to ridiculously over-the-top divas. Having grown up a musical theatre kid, character singing is still one of her favorite things ever.
When not using her imagination in the booth, Lauren performs as a stage actress — playing the roles of Miss Honey in “Matilda,” Louise (Gypsy Rose Lee) in "Gypsy," Gloria Thorpe in "Damn Yankees," Agnes Gooch in "Auntie Mame," the Countess Olivia in "Twelfth Night,” and many more.
Lauren loves doing life with her amazing husband, spending time with her kitties, and enjoying all things theme parks, food, books, and travel.
