Mary McDonald-Lewis
Mary McDonald-Lewis has been a voice actor since 1980 when she burst on the scene as Lois Lane in Superfriends, and Lady Jaye in GI Joe, among many others. She made history as the first AI voice ever heard as the in-car voice of OnStar (named “Mary”!). And when Pixar needed a talent for IVAN, Buzz Lightyear’s spaceship, there was only one voice to take him to infinity and beyond in Buzz Lightyear.
Fans love her for all her characters at Comic Cons around the world, and her commercial work’s been heard during the Superbowl, the Emmys, and more.
MaryMac’s also a dialect coach. Stars lighting up the screen depend on her to give life to their voices, from Juliette Binoche to Patrick Stewart and hundreds more.
For MaryMac, there’s magic and mystery in the voice. There’s power and hope and joy. That’s why she loves what she does, and that’s what she brings to the mic.
