Michael Lorz

Actor, comedian, and midwestern choir boy at heart, Michael is best known for appearances on Gotham (FOX), Difficult People (HULU), and Elementary (CBS). In the world of voiceover, Michael has been working on video game projects like Date Everything (writers Robbie Daymond & Ray Chase), and was the American voice of Koji in Netflix’s My Happy Marriage. Michael has also lent their voice to multiple characters in the narrative podcasts: Academy (Wondery), Very Unbecoming (Audible), The Last City (Wondery), and Who Killed Avril Lavigne (Super Normal Media) — as well as several voices in the award-winning immersive experience, The Ladder (Hatch Escapes).

If you're on the hunt for a quick-witted performer with an alarming number of characters living inside his larynx, Michael is the spritely, gender-queer actor you've been searching for. Michael uses both they/them and he/him pronouns interchangeably, and is unsurprisingly a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community! (Your questions about this are more than welcome.) Having been trained at NYU / Tisch in musical theater and starting their career on stage, Michael is more than prepared to take on your singing roles and do lackluster jazz squares in your sound booth. He is now based in LA, and should you need a comedic improviser, Michael has also been climbing the ladder of improv training at The Groundlings School
