Nicole Shostak is an Australian actress and voiceover artist who divides her time between Sydney and Los Angeles.Nicole came into the arts through a love of musicals and has trained in theatre and film at Australia’s two most prestigious drama schools, NIDA and WAAPA. During her training, she also spent a Summer abroad at the St Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy in Russia.
On screen, Nicole plays Josie the new Australian ABC series Diary of an Uber Driver. She has previously played the recurring role of American mum ‘Caroline Stewart’ in Australia’s leading soap opera Home and Away and appeared in A Place to Call Home for Network 7 and Matchbox Pictures’ Devil’s Playground. She has also lent her voice to animated Australian television series including the roles of ‘Peter’ and ‘Mrs Keller’ Heidi for the award-winning production company Flying Bark.
After being awarded the Marten Bequest Travelling Scholarship in 2017, Nicole studied at UCB Los Angeles in improvisation and sketch, and has since utilised her comedic flare in the feature film No Appointment Necessary and Tropfest Australia Finalist Short Film Identical.
Nicole speaks fluent Russian, decent French, and has a large variety of European accents up her sleeve. Contrary to popular belief, she does not ride a kangaroo to work!Add to Call Sheet
