Ron Kuhlman

Ron Kuhlman moved to New York right after college (BFA in Acting, Ohio University) and quickly found work Off Broadway, regionally, and in commercials.

Michael Bennett spotted Ron and cast him in a little workshop at the Public Theater which became the award winning musical A CHORUS LINE. Ron originated the role of Don Kerr, “the tall guy in jeans on the end.” After a Broadway run, the first national tour brought Ron to the west coast where he expanded his career to film and television. It also increased his love of the great outdoors (mountain climbing, backpacking, cross-country skiing, bicycling, and sailing).
In the span of his career, Ron was shot and killed by both Brad Pitt (KALIFORNIA) and James Caan (FLESH AND BONE), shared a drink at a bar with Tom Hanks (SPLASH), and had the late, great Florence Henderson for a mother-in- law (THE BRADY BRIDES). Even though Ron has played his share of serious “bad boys” on stage and screen, his adeptness at physical comedy has been compared to Dick Van Dyke.

Ron Kuhlman makes his home in Los Angeles with his wife and college sweetheart, Marsha Warner (also an actor), where they raised two phenomenal daughters.
