Sal Lopez

Sal Lopez is a veteran actor who has appeared in numerous films including "The Banger Sisters," "American Me," "The Price of Glory," and "Selena." He is a founding member of The Latino Theater Company and produced the play "Luminarias" as well as the film. He plays the lead in the film version of the award winning play "Dementia," currently in post production. Television shows, include "Nip/Tuck," "CSI," "ER," "NYPD Blue," "Touched By An Angel" and many others.

The Latino Theater Company is celebrating their permanent home in the soon to be renovated Los Angeles Theater Center, and Sal's plays with the Company include "La Victima," "Premeditation," "August 29th," "Luminarias" (producer), "Dementia," and the lead in "La Virgen Dios Inatzin," performed every year at The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. His other theatre work includes, "Blade to the Heat," "Bandido," and "Zootsuit" for the Mark Taper Forum "Selena" (musical), at the Doolitte "La Posada Magica," for Southcoast Rep. "A Midsummer Night's Dream" for East L.A. Classical Theater "Corridos Tales of Passion and Revolution" for Teatro Campesino and "Lorca Child of the Moon," "Young Lady from Tacna," and "Wanted Experience Operators" for The Bilingual Foundation of the Arts.
